Following constructive engagement with the local community over the past year, we have submitted a planning application (Planning reference: 22/AP/3149) to Southwark Council. We’d like to thank everyone who shared feedback with us prior to submission, which has helped us to reach this point.
The vision for the site is to create an exciting new destination for the area which will deliver a new neighbourhood that is designed around people; connecting residents and the wider community alike.
Our proposals for Borough Triangle include:

Public consultation
Our public consultation prior to submission included engagement with local residents, community groups, near neighbours and wider stakeholders. We received over 1,000 feedback responses and spoke to over 800 people at various in-person events between October 2021 and June 2022, as we moved from consultation on the development principles through to presenting the emerging and developed proposals for the site for feedback.
For more information on our consultation activities and the feedback we received from the community, please refer to our Statement of Community Involvement. You can also find out more in our ‘Consultation overview’ blog here.
